Vintage Beach Friends

Working on some cards for a secret sister swap for the DIVAs and stepped out of my SU zone for a while to use this adorable image I downloaded from The Vintage Workshop.  I used it with a technique I learned over at Splitcoaststampers called the double emboss technique.  I thought it went well with the vintage image.  I sized printed and trimmed the image on vanilla card stock and then ran it through my Cuttlebug using the double emboss technique.

Here is a picture of another card I posted on my Stampin' Up blog (Stamp with Me Cindy G) using the same technique but with a stamped and colord image.

Post cards are very pretty but that vintage beach card just rocks my socks off.

Cindy, both cards are gorgeous!! I've been interested in this technique at SCS and now you have encouraged me to give it a try! The Mother's card is stunning! Love that sketch, very unique, and your coloring is perfection! Hugs!

Both are so pretty Cindy - but of course the one that pulls at my heart is the vintage one - the image is darling, love the glitter, and the techique makes everything just pop! Hugs, Dru
